Brand new - Mueller Design Interactive is now MUELLER

We creatives get wrapped up in client work, it happens to the best of us. Having great work to focus on is nothing to complain about, but our creative studio has been through some changes and our old brand no longer held up with our change in staff, location and overall growth as a company.

Our goal was to explore who we have become over the last 6 years in business, and visually communicate that by breaking down our message to its core essence. Simplifying our name is just the beginning.

new MUELLER identity

Our clients began referring to us as "MUELLER" instead of our previous moniker "MUELLER DESIGN INTERACTIVE". I can't say that this came as a surprise... Our logo-type is customized to show focus, growth, approachability, and creativity. Our primary brand color is still red - the color of vitality. It is known to escalate the body's metabolism and suggests energy, passion, action and strength.

We rely on visual elements to help communicate our core message of vitality, life and growth. Our new corporate identity is accompanied by several iconic representations of this. These support symbols serve as a visual language throughout the various elements of our brand package.

Our new Web site also reflects our new focus - no extraneous elements, simple clean and clear design with a focus on our message and our work. We also reorganized content and updated our navigation for clarity and usability. You will find similar changes to our company literature and correspondence.

MUELLER open house and all you can eat sushi buffet

On May 6th, 2004 the mighty morphing mortals that make up MUELLER celebrated our new super secret headquarters. Clients and friends stopped by our Open House where they were treated to drinks, home cooked morsels (and sushi) and live grooves provided by DF TRAM.

MUELLER office party

Since sliding into our new studio the MUELLER staff has been a happy bunch. Our second floor sanctuary is a unique escape into creative nirvana. Giant windows, warm colors, a dedicated conference room (where Todd devours meals every two hours), kitchenette and plenty of unique personality. The perfect environment to create, entertain and play.

How environments, both real and virtual, influence us

How Environments, Real and Virtual, Influence Us.

I get anxious in certain environments. The reasons for this can vary from general disorganization, to bad lighting or clashing colors, but the biggest culprit is usually clutter. Clutter is the stuff that has no "place," doesn't belong with its surroundings, and serves little to no purpose. This article explores the parallels between web environments and living environments and how they influence us.
